AG x Emrata Takes Over NY

Editors, influencers, and VIP's gathered to celebrate the launch of the AG x EmRata capsule collection where AG and Emily Ratajkowski hosted a NYFW party at The Highlight Room atop Moxy LES in Manhattan. Looking out over the city, one could see multiple billboards illuminating the night sky, featuring the campaign for the collection, also staring Ratajkowski, shot in the Big Apple by photographer Oliver Hadlee Pearch. In fact, regardless of the always plentiful New York Fashion Week festivities, AG x EmRata seemed to be everywhere; the collaboration was featured across most major fashion publications with special exclusives with Vogue, a massive OOH campaign draped the city from highly-visible wallscapes to traditional boards and wild postings, reinforced by an impressive list of VIP's spotted throughout the week in various pieces from the collection.

The Los Angeles-based brand linked up with the multi-hyphenate model, actress and entrepreneur to serve as the inspiration for the 21-piece women’s collection. Centered on versatile staples that mix and match, the collection reflects the AG aesthetic as well as Ratajkowski’s personal style.

"I’ve always been a fan of AG and was happy when they approached me about a collab that felt authentic and reflective of my personal style" -EmRata

Emily brought a positive and uplifting energy to the design process—her passion and attention to detail are evident in each item in the capsule collection and the collection provides a combination of both fashion and basic wardrobe essentials that are sure to resonate with millions of women.

Denim is an authentic part of Ratajkowski’s style. She is frequently photographed wearing denim jeans, miniskirts, and Bermuda shorts walking her dog where she lives in SoHo. Emily had long been an “organic supporter” of the brand, being spotted wearing AG frequently throughout the years. Ratajkowski said in a statement that “the pieces are wardrobe essentials that can transition from day to night seamlessly. They are crucial styling pieces that I find myself turning to again and again.”
